Job role: Human Resources Information Systems Business Analyst

Key responsibilities:

Genus, a global leader in Bovine and Porcine genetics is implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 across the enterprise. The product will be implemented as a single global system across all geographies and covers all aspects of the business: Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, CRM, HR and many other areas.

The major task of the HRIS Business Analyst is to act as the integral lead for the HR implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365. As the key enabler, developing the HR system to meet the organizational requirements. The position will be a key role within the HR team reporting to the Group HR Director and will act as the “go to person” to provide the agility and insight to respond to new and ongoing system requirements, enabling HR globally to leverage the best from Microsoft Dynamics 365 and help build capability within the team.

Whilst the role is technical in its nature and we are seeking someone with demonstrable insight into the HR function and someone can work seamlessly with the wider team and have true HR understanding, comfortable driving adoption through effective communication, stakeholder management and training and able to apply creative and lateral thinking to organisational issues such as challenging the status quo and suggesting new ideas and process improvement

The Ideal candidate will have a proven ability to interpret and present management information and data to a variety of key stakeholders and through effective analysis, ultimately the HRIS Business Analyst will support HR operational efficiency for managers across Genus.

The HRIS Business Analyst work collaboratively and quickly build a network of good relationships, they will respond positively to change and role model as the local HRIS expert.

The successful candidate will have a extensive and proven track record in delivering HRIS implementation projects within similar technologies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as first response to the HR functional team to support with queries/errors
  • Identify, track and monitor data sets to monitor the performance of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Modules (including workflow management) and identify and implement improvements as necessary
  • Work with the IT functional Team to support resolution of end user issues
  • Provides production support researching and resolving HR system issues, unexpected results or process flaws, recommends solutions and alternate methods to meet business needs
  • Develop, communicate and maintain accurate process design and SOP documentation for HR users
  • Educate and upskill the HR team by providing “how to” support on the application of HR systems
  • Write any change requests needed for HR and liaise with the IT Functional team to support testing and move to production
  • Identify and track key metrics and data sets to maintain strong data accuracy, and arrange with the business any relevant data cleanse activities
  • Liaises with IT to review and monitor performance of data feeds and system integrations
  • Accountable for the mass upload of data using excel connector
  • Manage accuracy, integrity and security of data on the system, ensuring system access and security profiles are in line with HR Leadership Team approvals
  • For minor system changes outside of CAB approval to make these changes in Genus One
  • Works with the HR reporting team and Power BI team to identify robust reporting solutions

Candidate requirements:

The ideal candidate will:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working in a fast- paced global environment
  • Process-oriented and an eye for detail
  • Passion for HR systems e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365, workday, Kronos, Sage
  • Robust experience in analysing and cleansing large quantities of data to produce workable business solutions
  • Ability to identify process efficiencies with Strong analytical skills
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to produce comprehensive, accurate and well-structured workshop documents, functional design documents, configuration documents, process flows etc.
  • Clear communicator, particularly when explaining complex technical principles to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Experience in UAT and regression system testing
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple deliverables, some larger with longer timelines and others requiring immediate attention and completion
  • Critical thinker with strong time-management, organisation, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines also a must
  • Experience in customer facing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
