Powerstart Xpress utilises all of the sugar in the grass with it's unique fructan degrading, lactic acid producing, bug, called AberF1 (developed by IBERS, formerly IGER at Aberyswyth and patented by Genus ABS).

The main benefit of Powerstart Xpress is that it's 'live' bacteria provide access to all available sugars in grass, thus speeding up the fermentation process. Not to mention that Powerstart Express is easy to use and ready for application just 2½ hours after being put into warm water, you don't even need a heater tray!

Your cows will love eating silage treated with Powerstart Xpress, they will voluntarily take extra mouthfuls. As part of a balanced diet there is almost no limit on how much lactic acid your cows can consume, infact they simply won't be able to get enough of it!

It's so easy to use too! Diluted in cold water with a standard 200 litre drum holding enough Powerstart Xpress to treat 150 tonnes of forage. It can be applied at other dilutions all the way up to neat if time is very short with the same 200 litre drum holding enough additive to treat 1200 tonnes. There are two pack sizes available, 150 and 300 tonne and with this you will receive an empty drum, a bacterial sachet and bacterial food (per 150 tonnes).
