Maize is a wonderful high energy crop and like grass silage, when it comes  to making silage it's important that you aim for the fastest fermentation possible to preserve valuable nutrients in your crop.

In trials at IGER, maize treated with Live System had a lower face temerature and better aerobic stability than untreated maize (see graphs one and two below)
