Belgian/British Blues are a result
of crossing Dutch Friesians and English shorthorns with the native animals in Belgian during the second half of the 19th century.
Belgian/British Blues are medium sized, long bodied, heavy cattle with a massive double muscle structure. They are robust cattle that produce a high yielding carcass.
Belgian/British Blues are ideal for both commercial and dairy farmers. When crossed with Holstein or Friesian cows the proportion of difficult calvings is less than those experienced with other large continental beef breeds.
